Stakeholders of MVG Pageant

The stakeholders of My Virtuous Global Beauty Pageant are categorized into three main groups: The first group consist mainly of organizers of the pageant namely Ritzy Emporium Plus, Judges, Producers and Contestants. Those who play key roles in the dressing and grooming of contestants culturally such as fashion designers, chaperones and traditional rulers form the second set while the third group is the general public who contributed to the viewing, selection and crowning of the Queen. These are viewers and all who perform various roles in the pageant such as viewing, voting, sponsoring and playing the role of resource persons.

All participants from the three groups perform significant roles in achieving the pageant objectives of Enriching Young Women, Promoting Decency and Cultural Values. Regional representatives (contestants), viewers, and the organizers are all significant characters of the pageant. The young ladies compete to become My Virtuous Global Queen through their costumes, talents, physique, skills, aesthetics, style, and values, representing a symbolic package of the Ghanaian culture and fashion.

The above stakeholders established (MVG) with the theme: “Enriching Young Women, Promoting Decency and Cultural Values”.

Events

When the event starts, all the beauty pageant contestants will be announced, at which point they will take the stage. Occasionally contestants will be required to introduce themselves. This typically involves giving a name, age, home location and a personal snippet about a hobby or passion. As the competition proceeds, contestants will often be required to display a dressy look and a sports or swimsuit look, depending on the type of competition.

Contestants will also be expected to show off a talent. Usually contestants will also undergo an interview portion. The master of ceremony will give each contestant a single question to answer within a specified amount of time.

As events unfold, judges will watch and grade every action that each contestant makes. Contestants will be judged on grace, poise, beauty, eloquence of speech, personality, talent and dress. From these scores, winners will be determined and awards will be issued.

Enriching Young Women, Promoting Decency and Cultural Values

Is a beauty pageant that focuses on the looks, physical appearance and personality of the contestants. MVG as know is created took appear very glamorous which include gorgeous long dresses, swimsuit wear and fashion wear (contestants choice) and the winner gets a big crown, sash with their title, cash prizes and other sponsorship benefits.

MVG is for the ages between 18years to 30years. The title MVG QUEEN wins is very important as some other beauty queens are dedicated to helping out in the world and do charity work to raise money for charities. Ladies competing in a MVG have to look gorgeous so would need much support get their makeup, tan and hair done to stand out.

The main concept of the pageant and its possible significance on the Ghanaian Society is on developing skills, self confidence, promoted businesses and adoption of cultural values. It is a yearly event full of educative and brilliant scenes geared towards possible live transformations.
